I have been quite busy since my brief return to Melbourne after a 6 month world tour.
I am partaking in a short residency at Backwoods Gallery, that is currently in progress. I am creating new works on found objects and vintage paper that i have located at several locations in Melbourne.

My 4th and final installation of my painting frenzy in Wynwood for Miami Art Basel 2012.Completed one week apart, Dal East and myself collaborated on this large wall at the Wynwood Cigar Factory located on NW24th st between North Miami ave and NW 2nd ave. It was very easy to decide what to do from Dal’s crashed car. Very different styles but it works! Time to enjoy Basel and get my drink on… maybe even go to the beach!
My Ride during Basel… I wish!
My 3rd installment of walls completed in Wynwood for Miami Art Basel 2012. A very hard location to paint…. not just the size either. Luckily the owners were nice enough to hire a mammoth boom 50 ft boom lift! One of my largest murals to date. This wall can be found on the corner of SE 26th st & NE 2nd ave. Enjoy…
Sorry for the lack of posting on my behalf….
Miami Basel and all the shenanigans that came with it got the best of me.
This is the second wall I completed during Basel in Wynwood. Located near the corner of NE 22nd st and North Miami ave. It was a challenging wall to paint with the amount of windows, doors and other characteristics on the 2 storey building. It was a challenge to say the least. Buildings like this are attractive for me to paint as it makes me think how I can use these wall characteristics to my advantage. Here is the result:
Its taken me a while, but I have finally sorted through thousands of photos just from the Miami leg of my trip.
My first wall completed on NW 23rd st. in Wynwood Miami, during Art Basel.Paul’s carpet is the best carpet in Miami. Mention me you will get sweet mates rates!
Its been a crazy time in New York the last 3 weeks. Hurricane Sandy had definitely made a mess of things. The NYC metro system came to a halt, half the city was without power, no hot water and the streets were filled with rubbish and fallen trees from the storm. It had changed quite a few plans of mine, however I was still able to get some work done and paint a few nice walls in Brooklyn.
This wall I completed on the weekend in Bushwick. I managed to get a wall right next to the Jefferson st. Subway on the L line. Great location.
My next post should be in a sunnier Miami. Stay tuned.

I have been painting a series of portraits of Hurricane Sandy, after experiencing its force and devastation it left in the last 2 weeks.
This wall is in 5 Points in Bushwick. New York. An area in Brooklyn that has a serious make over in the last 6 months. A great area for street art with its large industrial structures and old factories
I have started my third wall yesterday in Brooklyn continuing with the theme, however after todays snow storm I might not be back painting until the weekend. New York weather- very unpredictable.
The flight path to the JFK airport is directly about this area. It made a good night shot.No comments
The last wall I completed in Berlin before hopping on a plane back to foggy London town. Located in Friedrichshain on the side of Skalitzers Gallery. This wall was a real experiment for me. My focus was on playing with texture and layering block colours in a raw messy style.I have made a few discoveries out of this piece that I am confident that I can use in future works. For me trial and error is a very important part of my practice as an artist. Please enjoy. No comments
