SneakerFreaker X Reka Collab
For part of the No Comply festival in Melbourne, Sneaker Freaker magazine commissioned me to design a Limited-Run Tshirt that will be for sale at the opening. Naturally the design has to be skateboard orientated to link in with the show. Sneaker Freaker is one of 5 different organisations that is taking part in this No Comply T-Collaboration with some of Melbournes best artists.

Faces on my Aces
The last couple of months have been crazy busy with lots of group exhibitions and my upcoming solo show in Perth in October. Seems like the time of the year when everyones decided to organise shows. Its good. Its very good. Gotta keep active. Recently I’ve been playing around with tribal influenced masks. These masks below are pretty simple in detail but are realistically easier to make. Sounds like a good exhibition concept actually…

The Conscious

Moment of Truth
Peak Street magazine’s most recent issue includes a feature on Album cover remixes done by Australian artists. The brief was to select your favourite Hip Hop album that you grew up with. I selected Moment of Truth by Gangstarr. I used the themes explored in the album as inspiration for the art direction.

7 Lazerdeck Skateboard Show
Last year Refill magazine organised an exhibition allowing artists to explore the idea of lasering away at seven layers of ply that make a deck and add their own distinctive mark.
A select group of artists globally had contributed their works to explore this new technology. Only 50 limited edition decks were produced per artist. The aim of the show was to have a series of unique decks that collectors may choose to ride or display.
The exhibition had its first show at the MTV Gallery Space in Sydney, Australia in April, then to be followed later in the year by New York, LA, Japan and finally a scheduled tour of Europe.
