Aalborg, Denmark

First day I managed to paint a quick wall at one of the hall of fame spots next to about 8 Swet pieces in a row.
Aalborg doesn’t have much murals so the locals were very curious of what was happening to their city.

Abandoned and forgotten

before leaving to Denmark I managed to to fit in a another wall in Dulwich, South London. This abandoned house apparently is meant to be knocked down in a year. A few other artists also joined me including Roa, Shok-1, Run to name a few. I managed to climb on the roof for this nice spot. Maybe no one will ever see it. maybe not…

Baroque The Streets: Dulwich Art Festival

I was asked to take part in the Dulwich art festival in London this week.
Each artist was to base their wall of a painting from the oldest Art museum in UK - The Dulwich Picture Gallery.
Other artists taking part include Conor Harrington, Roa, Run, Shok1, Remi Rough, Phlem to name a few. I chose a piece called “The rape of Europe” An ancient Greek Mythology. More info on the festival check the website.

A push in the right direction - Wynwood Cigar Factory, NW 24th st

My 4th and final installation of my painting frenzy in Wynwood for Miami Art Basel 2012.Completed one week apart, Dal East and myself collaborated on this large wall at the Wynwood Cigar Factory located on NW24th st between North Miami ave and NW 2nd ave. It was very easy to decide what to do from Dal’s crashed car. Very different styles but it works! Time to enjoy Basel and get my drink on… maybe even go to the beach!

No strings attached - SE 26th st & NE 2nd ave

My 3rd installment of walls completed in Wynwood for Miami Art Basel 2012. A very hard location to paint…. not just the size either. Luckily the owners were nice enough to hire a mammoth boom 50 ft boom lift! One of my largest murals to date. This wall can be found on the corner of SE 26th st & NE 2nd ave. Enjoy…

Abandoned but not lost - NE 22nd & Nth Miami ave

Sorry for the lack of posting on my behalf….
Miami Basel and all the shenanigans that came with it got the best of me.
This is the second wall I completed during Basel in Wynwood. Located near the corner of NE 22nd st and North Miami ave. It was a challenging wall to paint with the amount of windows, doors and other characteristics on the 2 storey building. It was a challenge to say the least. Buildings like this are attractive for me to paint as it makes me think how I can use these wall characteristics to my advantage. Here is the result:

Ups and Downs in New York City

Its been a crazy time in New York the last 3 weeks. Hurricane Sandy had definitely made a mess of things. The NYC metro system came to a halt, half the city was without power, no hot water and the streets were filled with rubbish and fallen trees from the storm. It had changed quite a few plans of mine, however I was still able to get some work done and paint a few nice walls in Brooklyn.
This wall I completed on the weekend in Bushwick. I managed to get a wall right next to the Jefferson st. Subway on the L line. Great location.
My next post should be in a sunnier Miami. Stay tuned.
